CPRE Lancashire’s comments on the Burnley Local Plan Issues & Options Consultation which is an important stage in the emergence of the local plan document that will guide future planning decisions up to 2030.

CPRE has launched a new report concluding that the Government’s planning reforms are unnecessarily damaging the countryside and undermining local democracy while failing to prioritise the reuse of brownfield land and regeneration of urban areas.

CPRE Lancashire is pleased to have been able to respond to the Department for Culture Media and Sport English Heritage New Model Consultation setting out proposals to make changes to how English Heritage delivers its services.

Irlam Green Belt saved

CPRE Lancashire is extremely pleased to announce that the Irlam Green Belt proposal for 285 houses has been refused by Salford Council.
