CPRE Lancashire would like to take this opportunity to promote some events happening in your local area which are directly related to some of our campaign priorities.

Not only do we host our own events, but would like to support the work of other environmental charities and community organisations by making this information available on our website.

This list will be regularly updated so please check back and we hope to see you at some of these wonderful events!

Green Listening Event: Liverpool Year of the Environment

  • 28th September, 9.30-1 with optional walk afterwards
  • Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre

CPRE invites members of the public and representatives of local groups in the Liverpool City Region to a listening event on the morning of September 28th, to be held in Crosby. We want to hear your views about your local green spaces, parks, and Green Belt sites, to feed into the 'Toward a Green Future' conference, to be held on November 8th.

Full details can be found via this link:

Green Belt Walk: Greater Manchester Ringway

  • 20th October 2019: 11am - 4pm
  • Sale to West Didsbury

Join us on our Autumn Green Belt walk to experience the green spaces on your doorstep in South Manchester, and to find out more about the vital role that the Green Belt plays. This leisurely guided walk will be an opportunity to talk to CPRE staff and volunteers about the Green Belt and plans that will impact on it – as well as an opportunity to enjoy being outdoors and meeting new people!
