With your support, CPRE Lancashire, Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester is campaigning for a beautiful and living countryside and thriving urban green spaces.

Tameside volunteers look for sites

We’re campaigning to make better use of previously developed land in our towns and cities that can regenerate our towns and provide the housing we need.

For example. we have developed a Brownfield Land Register Toolkit to facilitate the redevelopment of brownfield land by helping people to tell their local council about brownfield sites that might be developed, and to get them included in their Brownfield Registers across Lancashire, the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester. We regularly respond to planning applications and at appeals, as well as considering and responding to strategic consultations to ensure that the countryside has a voice.
